The Mint opened in 1904, and has been in continuous operation for over 100 years. It’s been a western cafe and a bowling alley, and the empty lot which is now the dining room was also previously used as a volleyball court. The Mint underwent significant renovations in 1995, and current owners Jay and Mary Bentley have been welcoming hungry locals and out-of-towners who appreciate fine dining and a uniquely Montana atmosphere ever since.
